Hold 2 Cards
When you hold two cards they
must be a pair, two face cards, 10-J suited, 10-Q suited, or 10-K suited.
Catching a STRAIGHT is impacted by the penalty
cards (possible straights) in the 3 discards. If you are holding a 10-jack suited
the 7, 8, 9, Q, K, and Ace are penalty cards. If you are holding a K, A the 10,
J, and Q are the only straight penalty cards.
When you hold 2 royal cards a
discard of the same suit is a FLUSH
penalty card.
When you hold a pair of
A’s, 2’s, 3’s, or 4’s any A, 2, 3, or 4 discarded is a
penalty in DDB.
STRAIGHT FLUSH:
odds for the 10-Q are 1 in 8,107. There are two ways to make a SF holding a
10-Q. catching an 8, 9, J or catching the 9, J, K.
STRAIGHT FLUSH:
odds for the 10-K are 1 in 16,215. The odds are greater because the only SF
cards are 9, J, Q.
ROYAL FLUSH:
odds 1 in 16,215 are the same when you hold suited 10-J, 10-Q, 10-K, J-Q, J-k,
J-A, Q-K, Q-A, or K-A.
